About the event
Language Advocacy Days (LAD) is JNCL-NCLIS’s flagship annual event, bringing together language educators, students, and professionals from every state to speak with one voice in support of language education. Over the course of three days, participants will receive advocacy training, connect with colleagues from across the nation, and meet directly with Members of Congress and their staff to share why language learning matters for America’s future.

Sunday, March 8, 2026: Arrival and informal networking
Monday, March 9, 2026: Training sessions and congressional meetings
Tuesday, March 10, 2026: Continued meetings and closing activities
