Maria Magdalena Connell (Maggie) is the Adoptions Manager at Klett World Languages and holds an M.S. in Reading, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Literacy (RESOL). She is an experienced bilingual educator with over twenty years of service as a teacher, district specialist, and professional development consultant. Most recently, she led the establishment and oversight of a Dual Language program in a Florida school district.

A native Spanish speaker born in Chile, Maggie has been a dedicated advocate for language education for more than fifteen years. In her current role, she collaborates with educators nationwide to support the adoption of innovative and effective language learning resources. She is passionate about the role of multilingualism in today's interconnected world and looks forward to contributing her experience and commitment to the mission of JNCL-NCLIS as a member of the Board.
