Megan Worcester (IFLTA):

Megan Worcester is currently a Spanish Teacher for the Union County School District, IN. She completed a double major from Miami University of Ohio in Spanish and Spanish Education, with a minor in Latin American Studies. She studied abroad at the Universidad de Málaga in Málaga, Spain and completed part of her Student Teaching at Pablo VI Elementary School in Ávila, Spain. Upon finishing her undergraduate studies, she decided to move to and worked in Madrid, teaching English and TEFL programs at TtMadrid. She completed her Master’s in Literacy, Language, and Cultures with a focus on ESL/EFL through Indiana University’s online program. She remained in Madrid six years before returning home.

As an active professional, Megan currently volunteers her time as Advocacy Chair for AATSP-IN, and Advocacy Chair and Vice President for Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association (IFLTA). She is an active member of the JNCL-NCLIS Outreach/Membership committee and frequently volunteers at JNCL-NCLIS events. She loves serving for these inspiring organizations and hopes to continue serving them in the future as an advocate for the education and language that have allowed her to become a global citizen.
