Directions to JNCL-NCLIS
From 495 (Beltway)
Take Wisconsin Avenue (Rt. 355) South toward
Bethesda. Drive several miles, into the District,
past Friendship Heights (Western Avenue). Watch the
cross streets as they descend the alphabet (Fessenden,
Ellicott, Davenport, Chesapeake, Brandywine). When
you reach Brandywine, turn left. (There is a left
turn lane and traffic signal.) Go one block. At the
stop sign, turn left onto 40th Street. We are
located in the CAL building, which is the second
building on the left.
From Wisconsin Avenue (heading north)
If you are driving north on Wisconsin Avenue,
continue past Tenley Circle. Continue straight
through the traffic light at Albemarle Street. (You
will see Whole Foods on your right.) Turn right at
the next street, which is Brandywine. Go one block.
At the stop sign, turn left onto 40th Street. We are
located in the CAL building, which is the second
building on the left.
Metrorail
If you are arriving via Metro, take the Red Line to
the Tenleytown station. Take the exit for the EAST
side of Wisconsin Avenue. As you get off the
escalator, continue walking straight ahead to the
corner, then turn left onto 40th Street. (There is
no street sign, but you'll see a video store on the
corner to your left.) Stay on the left side of 40th
Street. (You'll see a high school complex on your
right, across the street.) You will cross Brandywine
Street. We are located in the CAL building, which is
the second building on the left.
At the building
At the CAL building, call "006" on the keypad and
the JNCL-NCLIS receptionist will unlock the door for
you to enter. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
When you come out of the elevator, take a left and
go the end of the hall. The JNCL-NCLIS office is on
the left hand side, Suite 310.
Parking
Metered street parking is available (2 or 3 hour
limit). There is also a commercial parking lot
(Circle Parking) at Whole Foods. Enter the lot from
Wisconsin Avenue or 40th Street, between Albermarle
and Brandywine.
